Spring 2014 Menswear

So, now its time for MENSWEARR RAWRRR!!

Anyway, there's this trend worldwide where the concept on androgyny is very Very Popular.
First we thought of the female in men's clothes and then there's this thinking of why not men in feminine clothes?
Now more and more designers are trying to start this trend. And I definitely see it coming in this year's menswear. It's not too feminine but designers are trying put in little details of softness and femininity I see.
Using of lightweight fabrics like satin are very common. Also, Alexander Mcqueen went all out with the usage of lace.

First, Christopher Shannon. I love his concept and of course his visuals, his styling and the creative use of different materials/fabrics.
There's this boyswear coming up. if you get what I mean.. not men but boys. And I love it <3 p="">There is this strange/unique vibe to this collection. Its feels like its from a certain era that I don't really think it exist...

Secondly, E.Tautz. Not really loving this collection but I clearly the use of lightweight fabrics.
*I like the coats though :>

Next one Meadham Kirchoff. Very creative, and also the use of very lightweight fabrics, something that resembles a poncho material?

Then... Alexander Mcqueen! LACE LACE LACE. Some people don't like the makeup and hair, the styling. BUT I LOVE THEM. I think it fits into the concept well? If you read the concept behind this collection. Very creative, I love it.
